The level of automation in the agricultural sector has been rising constantly for decades. In view of the steadily growing world population and resources becoming more scarce, increasing efficiency while protecting the environment at the same time is one of the most important issues for the future.
The company Lechler GmbH won the silver medal with the ESV (Electric Shut-off Valve) developed by us. The ELV is a CAN bus controlled nozzle with low switching times. It combines a valve, wiring and plug in one component. This enables easy and foolproof fitting to single and multiple nozzle holders.
Following BoomControl, Horsch again wins a silver medal with innovative technology from InMach, this time for BoomSight.
Using laser sensors, the surrounding area is recorded over the entire working width in front of the device. In this way, power poles and well rings or even stock shortages can be recorded.
The BoomControl Pro control unit developed by us for the field sprayer was awarded the title “Machine of the Year 2014” by a jury comprising editors from the German Agricultural Publishing House.
